2011 was kicked off for me on the 7th with this:

A week overdue, but a week well worth it. The Irn Cru gents pulled a corker out of the bag my hosting what might just be the best show of the year. The Kings Manor was over run with rowdy wanton punters as far as the eye could see (granted, that isn't really all that far) all baited and ready.
Before the mighty Foot Hair struck the nights opening chord, this happened:

Which made Lee and I very, very happy indeed.
People loved the posters, I hope that more promoters take pride in their events enough to make some souvineers. Loved making them. Folk loved getting them.
Every band played superbly. The energy at the show was absolutely overwhelming triggering one of the most active audience responses I've seen in a good old while. Is this the kick up the arse the Newcastle Scene so very desperately needed? I bloody well hope so. More of the same.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
Special thanks to John Francis, Lee Keith Innes and Chris Lafferty for getting it done. You're all utter legends.
